Koji Ueno, a highly regarded genius of modern classical music and Japanese film scores, launched "Intonarumori" in the late 1990's with Miyuki Kido, an active lounge pop musician at the time. This marked the beginning of an unprecedented techno-pop group.

The project's fundamental approach included treating noise as musical material, exploring the human voice, incorporating electronic elements, and balancing melody with structural integrity.
The core contributors are Koji Ueno (composition and arrangement) and Chikara Tanishima (English lyrics). However, the central figure in cinematic terms is Miyuki Kido, who handles vocals, mixing, some arrangements, analog synths, and English lyrics.
